Clipping
- When adding a new pallet or
bringing in an old pallet to the pallet grid, check to see if the grade is
already in the grid.
Handheld
- Display multi specie on the Log Purchase Contract.
- Add total load amount in box that shows total feet and average $/m
in Log Purchase.
- Delete multiple Log Purchases at one time based on date.
- Do not increment the Log
Purchase log number when pushing the log to a sale.
- Import a PAD list into the
SAW program.
Main System
- Permanently delete Invoice bank info.
- Prevent the Invoice from updating Supporting Tables when Misc is
updated.
- Log Sales – Added Post icon to Log Sales screen.
- Create security screen so the customer has an interface to maintain
users, passwords and security level.
- Log Sales Reports - Add these columns Cost/MBF (purchase cost/BF),

- Add Specie to the Bundle Tally Report - accessed by going to
Inventory Status then pressing the View Bundles button.
- Add Shipper Nbr, Ship Date, Check Nbr, Arrival Date to the Invoice.
- Made freight a line item on the Log Sales Invoice.
- Add Customer Log Number to the Log Sales Grid and the ability to
manipulate.
- Make the Invoice Bank Info field lines the same size on the entry
screen as what will print on the invoice.
- Log Sales Invoice – Update the Log Sales Invoice Total to reflect
the freight amount after freight
was updated on the Invoice header and print every container number and a
seal for each container.
Sorting
- Increase the size of the sort destinations to 10 digits in the grid.

Clipping
- Add customer codes and
pricing codes to the pallet tags like the Sorting tags.
Handheld
- Display an overhead cost field for a % of the sales price as well
as the per thousand field in Log Sales.
- Speed up keyboard entry on the log program for saw logs.
- Add Check Number, Location and FOB or DEL for delivery to the Log Contract.
- Suppress the use of the User Code and Hyphen in Log Sales to
prevent a prefix on the purchase and the sale.
- Option to place a hyphen after the first 2 numbers of the log
number in Log Sales.
Main System
- Option to allow the grade to show as mixed if not all the logs are
the same grade.
- Allow toggle between sqft and sqm on Log Total Labels (NewLab).
- Option to print Packing List with and without costs.
- Move From Pallet to Pallet - add the pallet sequence field to the
grid and allow changes & save changes in the export table.
- Make all Meter Sheet reports the same format.
- Allow Domestic Shows to be created using '0.00' as a target price.

track all handhelds, the programs that are authorized for each and their
current status of update.
- WebUpdate is a new program that has been added that allows
the user to connect to their company server and transfer the latest
program updates from the TimberSoft web site directly to the handheld
based on the information in the License database.
- Drop leading zero on log length.
- Expand drop down boxes to display more entries.
- Added a “Near” find function to all Setup table screens that allows
entry of one or two characters and then search for the first occurrence of
the value in the table.
- Added delete function to Multi-freight table.
- Log Price Table displays specie description.
- Created new Re-Price program.
- Changed defaults on Log Purchase Change Cost option and allow user
defined grade entry.
- Standard Log Purchase Remarks can now be entered on the server and
transferred to the handheld.
- European date format is used when non-English languages are
selected.
- Added a log purchase number browse screen that displays purchase
number, supplier, date and transfer status. It is accessed by double
tapping the purchase number on the purchase header screen.
- Ability to force minimum data to be entered on a purchase such as
supplier before the purchase can be transferred to the server.
- By-pass log purchase rate if the field has a non-zero value and
Grade Hot Keys are setup.
- Removed the “ALL” feature from the Log Purchase Re-Price screen
- Removed a character from the Log Purchase Tally to prevent double
spacing on Canon i85 printers.
- Increased size of the log purchase rate field to display an
additional character.
- Corrected Pur Rpts Tally report total problem.

Main System &
Handheld
- 10 Buyer Grid added to the
following tables: Suppliers, Haulers, Species, Country, Currency and
Regions.
- Wild card function added to
the Buyer Grid. It allows multi
character and single character pulls into the Handhelds. (i.e. If you have
multiple buyers that end in a G
for example. Putting a %G in the
Buyer Code field on the PC – this will down load to all Handhelds that the
Buyer Code ends in a G. If you put
a __G in the Buyer Code field on
the PC this will down load all information for a Buyer Code with One
character left of the G and has to end in a G.)
- New FREIGHT TABLE and
Multiple Freight Rate System added. This allows the entry and tracking of
separate freights on different species within a purchase/parcel. It also
allows multiple freight entries on the same species. This then becomes
fully accessible for reporting issues.
- Added a new table call
DELIVERY TERMS. This table is utilized in the Multiple Freight Rate
System. It is completely driven by the user. Examples would be FOB, EXW,
CIF, and any other user defined descriptions.
- Company Table now has full
address. This information can be transferred to the Handheld for buyers in
the log purchase system and may also be used for reporting purposes.
- Supplier Table now has full
address and phone number data. This information can be transferred to the
Handheld for the buyers in the log purchase system and may also be used
for reporting purposes.
- Hauler Table now has full
address capabilities. This information can be transferred to the Handheld
for the buyers in the log purchase system and may also be used for
reporting purposes.
- Multiple species were
previously added for French and German. A new table has been added for
Euro English. This will allow for different English spellings that are
necessary for the European market in the log purchasing system and for
reporting purposes.
- The Country table is now tied
to the Regions. This allows for quick access within the log purchase
system. (i.e. When a Country is selected only those regions tied to that
country will be available in the selection box. This eliminates
unnecessary data clutter.)
- Cubic Meter Freight is now
based on per cubic Meter calculation.
- A new flag was added for
placing a “HOLD” on all transmitted log purchases from the Handheld to the
server. Upon transfer the purchase will remain in an “On Hold–No Delete”
mode until manually removed from the handheld.
- Split Log function revised.
The Handheld log purchase system now has the ability to enter in multiple
lengths, diameters, grades and prices for one log tag number.
- New Certification
Classification table has been added to both the PC and the Handheld. It will allow up to three classification
options for a log purchase. These fields are maintained on the server and
may be used for reporting.
- Purchase Remarks now allow up
to 6 lines of remarks on one purchase heading. These fields are maintained
on the server and may be used for reporting.
- Print functions on the
handheld Print Tally screen have been standardized.
- Supplier Name may be
displayed by Name order instead of supplier code within the log purchase
system.
- A new flag was added to
display the species description first before the species code within the
log purchase system. This also now functions with the use of a “hot-key”
method allowing you to retrieve species more efficiently.
- Scales that are different and
not interchangeable cannot be selected within the log purchase system.
- Currency symbol has been
added to the currency table to allow for currency specific reporting.
- Commissions will now be
calculated on a per UoM within the log purchase system.
- Metric Weight log purchases
will be calculated in per ton (t) UoM
- Regions may be sorted and
displayed by description in place of region code within the log purchase
system.
- New scale Cubic Meters by
Circumference will be added to the current array of log scale selections.
- New scale Cants by Cubic
Meters will be added to the current array of log scale selections.

report options. Available in 3 languages: English - French

also has Supporting tables and Default Settings. The module can be
operated with or without using the stylus with no loss of functionality
and can have 15 different loads open at the same time.

- Custom Reports function. This system allows the end user to
create their own reports. They can format text, prompt user for input, and

customer standards set up for the customer when it is entered, the
standards pull in automatically. They can be changed on an
invoice-by-invoice basis though, giving more flexibility.
- Customer Info box added to
orders, shipments, releases, and invoices. If info is entered into the
Sales Comments area in the customer supporting table, a popup window will
appear in orders/shipments/releases/info and display this information. The
user can choose to print this is they wish.
- Added Log Sale Margin warning
to Log Sales. Warn when posting log
sale if margin is below specified.
- Added auto-complete feature
to Purchases, Deliveries, log sales and change pad. Allow user to enter last part of log
number and automatically completes log number from previous entry
